Kang’s Kitchen delivers the highest quality of Korean barbecue! First of all, the atmosphere really drew me in. It has a very modern aesthetic. The servers were very nice and cooked the meats to perfection. The meats were so delicious and juicy. Each meat had a unique flavor that paired extremely well with all the traditional Korean side dishes. The kimchi was delicious, and I also loved the egg soufflé. When you order a combo, you also are able to choose between fried rice, ramen, or black bean noodles. I highly recommend checking out this sleek, incredible Korean barbecue restaurant!

Our waiter tended to us and made sure our BBQ was cooked to perfection. The food was good. It felt like an arena with food, so many seats (but, it's Duluth and we gotta eat), so I dunno how to make a place like this feel cozy. We did enjoy our meal and our server was exceptionally attentive. I wish Google had a star-rating for *Price*. Kang's was in the sweet spot, but there are so many places that we (my family) consider to be too expensive, and that contributes to the overall rating. Please Google, add Price to Food, Service, Atmosphere ratings.

We visited Kang's kitchen with a family of five (2 adults, 3 children) and ordered the Beef Combination Set Menu for 4 people. I thought the quality of the meat was excellent while the service was amazing. Do not think twice if you are looking for a good korean bbq cuisine experience as Kang's kitchen will sure to impress! We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again whenever we are in the Duluth area.

This is the second time I ate here. We loved the atmosphere! Music is not blaring like other bbq places which was great. The meat and food were very good. Our server, Brian, was very good. He cooked all of our meat for us quietly and ensured it was not cooked too fast or slow. I recommend.

We stopped for lunch randomly, we were in the area and the reviews looked good. We opted for lunch combinations. Bulgogi with kimchi soup, and beef tartar bipimbop with beef soup. For the price of about $22 each, we feasted - the food was so good! Fresh, flavorful, seasoned well. The banchan was delicious and fresh and we ate it all. Even the soups were bright and savory and rich and spicy. I have never craved Korean food, but I can't wait to go back and try the bbq and everything else. Worth the traffic, worth the money, a definite must go place.

We really enjoyed the AYCE bbq - meat quality and service was awesome. Alex made the experience exceptional

I recently visited Kang's Kitchen KBBQ and was thoroughly impressed by several aspects of the dining experience. Firstly, the ventilation system is excellent--you won't leave smelling like KBBQ, which is a significant plus. The food was fantastic, particularly the Rib Fingers, ribeye slices, and short ribs, which were all cooked to perfection. The sides complemented the main dishes wonderfully, and the best part is they don't charge extra for rice, unlike 9292 KBBQ. However, there is some room for improvement. The brisket and pork belly were a bit bland compared to the other offerings. Despite this, Kang's Kitchen provides an overall great experience. Additionally, their lunch menu is quite solid, featuring enticing lunch specials that are worth trying. Overall, Kang's Kitchen KBBQ is definitely worth a visit for a delicious and well-ventilated KBBQ experience!

With so many Korean BBQ restaurants abound Duluth, Kang's Kitchen BBQ stands out with its exceptional quality and inviting atmosphere. The Beef Combo is a highlight featuring a selection of premium cuts that are juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to high-quality standards. Accompanying the main dishes are delightful sides that elevate the dining experience. The steamed egg is perfectly fluffy and comforting, while the japchae offers a satisfying mix of stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables with a hint of sweetness. The lovely banchan, a variety of small side dishes, provides a range of flavors and textures, making each bite exciting and balanced. The potato salad is creamy and well-seasoned, adding a refreshing touch. On top of the amazing food, the service at Kang's Kitchen BBQ is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The combination of high-quality dishes and excellent service makes Kang's Kitchen BBQ a standout choice in Duluth's competitive Korean BBQ scene.

Korean BBQ itch scratched from the inside out! The food just kept coming! We walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday and were sat immediately. They have smaller tables as well as large party seating in their big open, beautiful space. They also have free parking and a large open space and bar to sit at if you should so desire. The moment we sat down our table was laden with an assortment of soups, sauces, spices and other small plates to pair with our meats such as kimchi, eggs, shredded green onions etc. We also had a personal vase filled with water to pour freely into our cups. We did the unlimited which is $50 per person, but you get all of the meats in any order that you want them. Honorable metion, YOU CANNOT TAKE ANYTHING TOGO when you order unlimited... STUFFED is an understatement. I think I had to go pray, because the level of food consumed was nothing short of gluttonous. Each time a meat selection came out, our waiter was there to cook them over the flame. Even though I was too greedy to wait and would sneak a good medium temp piece off with my chopsticks, they were cooking the meat and putting it aside on a plate for us to take when it was ready and safe to eat :). The reason they are 4* and not 5* is because of the lack of explanation for what was laid out before us on the table. I had no idea what I was eating sometimes lol. But I tried everything! I also have no allergies so it really didn't bother me, but I think I annoyed the server asking what each thing was. lol like Bruh I am not Korean! You come to a soul food restaurant and I GOT YOU! lol! The server was also a little dry. He did his job though with as little interaction as possible. I feel like if you are going to be reaching over me and in my space 60% of the meal at least be a little sociable sheesh. Some people might actually prefer the be seen and not heard approach. But, everyone around us was smiling and laughing (Shrugs). At the end of the day. I'd go back and reccomend you try it. (Order the meats that are marinated or spicy is my suggestion). It seemed unfair to have this place next door to another Korean BBQ place lol just saying.

I stopped in for a super-late lunch...and luckily, they were still serving lunch special at around 2 pm. First of all, I was very impressed with the decor and ambiance. The place had a very elegant, yet cozy vibe...and I even liked the Korean elevator music (that is, piano lounge music). Anyway, I chose their Marinated Short Rib lunch special, which came with Tofu plus Beef or Seafood Stew. As expected from all Korean restaurants, on came a slew of complimentary sides...and I especially loved how Japchae was included here! The only side that I couldn't eat was their regular Kimchi (not fully seasoned...thus very sour tasting)...however, they had these tasty squared Kimchi, so not a problem. The lunch plate had a lot of stuff on it. It even included a bread roll (??), which I found very random. I liked all the other sides that came with it...but here's the thing that just wasn't right. The main attraction of the dish, the Short Rib, was smothered down with veggies (why so much Onions??)...so I could barely see it! Huh?? I thought the presentation was a bit ruined...since the main staple was nearly hidden. I guess I would have wanted more short rib...versus all the random veggies on this plate. As for the short rib itself, it wasn't too tender...nor as marinated as I had anticipated. The lunch plate was good, but just not as great as I wanted it to be. Too much veggies and sides...not enough quality meat...and again, the presentation was just odd (see picture!) However, the Tofu-Seafood Stew was really good...and so was all the complimentary sides (minus the sour Kimchi). Service was really good. Since I came during the off hours, I didn't see any waiters...just the server and the host/manager/owner (??). Still, my foods were delivered super-quickly, and I was well attended to throughout my meal. Overall, I enjoyed checking out this relatively shiny, new restaurant...and I wouldn't mind returning to try their KBBQ. Not sure if I'd ever choose their veggie-heavy lunch platters though.
